Arrival in New Zealand

After weighing our suitcases a million times and making sure they were at the limit, but not over the limit, we went to the Sydney airport and left for Auckland, NZ last Wednesday evening. It took a few extra minutes for them to check our "imports from PNG" and they allowed us to store our extra duffle bag there for 3 weeks at the airport for only $20. We thought that was a deal!! This Saturday our missionary couple replacements were supposed to arrive, but because of visa problems are delayed. So we took advantage of the situation and left Saturday morning to drive north to Bay of the Islands. It was a great weekend. We went to church on the east coast and then drove for a couple of hours and made it to the west coast. Here is Paul at the Bay of Islands!

Oh Wow! Great picture of Dad. Mom we need to see some of you know. I hope you get your suitcase back. It worries me you may not see it. Is the security at the airport good to keep your suitcase?

Yes, we have the receipt and everything to prove it is there. It was the customs guy who stored it for us.
